I qualified more than 16 years ago and began my career in a Preschool, where I discovered how much i love supporting young children as they grow and explore. After stepping away for a few years to raise my own inquisitive little one – now happily attending Footsteps – I felt the pull back to early years education. When a practitioner role opened up, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to step back into the role with a renewed enthusiasm and experience. Being promoted to Deputy manager then completing a SENCo Level 3 course, has given me the responsivity to strive and prepare the children for their foundational educational journey.
Florence’s twin girls attended a pre-school which she, volunteered then trained as an Early Years Practitioner. From years of building her experiences and knowledge Florence has been working and managing pre-schools for almost two decades and this is something that she is truly passionate about. She loves to see the children developing and mastering new skills and has been fortunate enough to be able to help lay the foundations for great teaching and learning.
