Our founding site at Chalfont St Peter is conveniently located in the grounds of Chalfont St Peter Football Club. The former club facilities have been transformed into a bright, welcoming space for all of the children to enjoy. The nursery caters for children from 3 months through to school age and also offers before and after school care, as well as, flexible hours to accommodate parents’ needs wherever possible. Both 15 and 30 hours of funded places are available and term-time only places for teaching parents are on offer.
We are very fortunate to have access to the grounds and pitch meaning lots of outdoors space to run around, play ball and tennis on, meaning we access to the great outdoors 24/7. The location offers plenty of opportunity for free flow outside play, sports, nature walks, and a Forest School area.
As a Forest School nursery, we run regular sessions for the children taking full advantage of our surroundings.
We have also teamed up to provide Footsteps football coaching and holiday clubs.

Maria is our head chef at Footsteps who lovingly plans all of our menus. All of our meals are freshly cooked in-house.
“I feel that it is really important for children to understand where vegetables comes from. I review our menus on a quarterly basis and receive feedback from my team which ones the children like. My roast chicken dinner is one of our children’s current favourites, empty plates every time.”
Your child will experience a wide range of tastes and textures from our weekly menus. Each meal is carefully planned, so that each child will receive a balanced and healthy snack or meal. We have a good food hygiene rating and will cater for your child if they have specific dietary requirements! Don’t worry, we are happy to cater for you!

Open 7.45am – 6.00pm (51 weeks a year)
We only close for 1 week at Christmas, and on public holidays. Please note, we close at 3pm Christmas eve in all nurseries and re-open day after New Year ’s Day. Fees are worked out on a 51 week year. We close bank holidays.

“I have been in childcare since the age of 23. I have a range of experience and qualification which I use to run the nursery on a day to day basis. I enjoy watching the children join as a baby and develop through the years to leave and go to school and know I had a part in that. I feel that having a good rapport with parent, helps us to make sure they feel happy about leaving their children in our safe hands.
