At Footsteps Farnborough, our aim is to ensure:
I have been in childcare since the age of 16 when I first started my level 3 qualification. I have a wide range of experience and knowledge gained through training and years of working in different childcare settings, where I worked my way up to management positions . I enjoy watching the children develop, grow and progress whilst in our care and leave us ready to go to school, having experienced a varied and exciting curriculum. I love to get stuck in getting messy and having fun with the children as I believe learning through play and having us there scaffolding and supporting their learning is key to a great setting like footsteps.
As a mum of 4 children, my 23 years’ experience has prepared me well for meeting the needs of lots of different children. Over 10 years of working in childcare, I have been fortunate to have a wide variety of experiences in both 1-2-1 additional educational needs, as well as, providing the nurturing care of a home-based setting.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and preparing healthy home cooked meals. I love to share this love with the children of Footsteps too! But despite the experience, I love that every day we learn something new about how to provide amazing care and experiences for the children – sharing their adventures every day is so rewarding and I love being part of it!
