At Footsteps Farnborough, we believe children learn best when they are free to explore real materials that engage their curiosity. Everything we do is rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), brought to life through playful, engaging experiences. Our dedicated team carefully plans activities that support every stage of development. Footsteps Farnborough is known for its strong sense of community and family atmosphere. Our practitioners build trusting relationships with children and parents, offering a warm welcome from day one. Through our key person approach, each child feels safe, settled and valued as an individual.
We understand that every family is unique, which is why we offer flexible childcare sessions wherever possible. We also offer 15 and 30 hours funded childcare for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

Dawn has been working in childcare for many years. Started her career working with babies, becoming a baby room lead. Then progressing to holiday club lead working with children aged 3-11 years, has a real passion for natural resources, forest school and any science activities. Dawn has recently completed her SENCo training to become the settings SENCo lead.
I have been in childcare since the age of 16 when I first started my level 3 qualification. I have a wide range of experience and knowledge gained through training and years of working in different childcare settings, where I worked my way up to management positions . I enjoy watching the children develop, grow and progress whilst in our care and leave us ready to go to school, having experienced a varied and exciting curriculum. I love to get stuck in getting messy and having fun with the children as I believe learning through play and having us there scaffolding and supporting their learning is key to a great setting like footsteps.
