At Footsteps Farnborough, we believe children learn best when they are free to explore real materials that engage their curiosity. Everything we do is rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), brought to life through playful, engaging experiences. Our dedicated team carefully plans activities that support every stage of development. Footsteps Farnborough is known for its strong sense of community and family atmosphere. Our practitioners build trusting relationships with children and parents, offering a warm welcome from day one. Through our key person approach, each child feels safe, settled and valued as an individual.
We understand that every family is unique, which is why we offer flexible childcare sessions wherever possible. We also offer 15 and 30 hours funded childcare for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
At Footsteps Farnborough, our aim is to ensure:
Dawn has been working in childcare for many years. Started her career working with babies, becoming a baby room lead. Then progressing to holiday club lead working with children aged 3-11 years, has a real passion for natural resources, forest school and any science activities. Dawn has recently completed her SENCo training to become the settings SENCo lead.
Toni has joined the Footsteps team to bring her extensive experience supporting children with additional needs, including within children’s residential homes. She is particularly skilled at helping children regulate their emotions, creating a calm and nurturing environment where they feel safe and understood. Toni’s favourite area of play is small world, where she loves designing imaginative adventures that inspire curiosity, storytelling and creative exploration.
