Our Rugby Club location offers:
We strongly believe in the power of outdoor learning as part of the Forest School approach. Every day is filled with outdoor adventure: puddle jumping, nature walks, bug hunting, gardening, woodwork, building and more. Children spend as much time outside as possible, building resilience, well-being and confidence. Children learn through real experiences and supported challenges, developing life-long skills such as:
Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace, developing creativity and imagination through natural resources, loose parts and open-ended play.
Little Footsteps Explorers welcomes children aged 1 to 5 years, offering up to 28 places in a warm and personal setting. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where children are supported emotionally, socially and physically.
Our curriculum follows the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and is brought to life through play, real-world learning and purposeful experiences. We celebrate each child’s individuality and create learning opportunities based on their interests, strengths and next steps.
“Our daughter was lucky enough to be part of Little Footsteps pretty much from the beginning. I’ve never seen her so happy to go in! The staff are amazing, they genuinely care your child and make sure they feel safe and happy. They have all the best bits of a nursery setting and a childminders. The outdoor space is expansive and they really make the most of it. There are many activities indoors that the children can choose from and our favourite part is the fact that they take the children out to various places (library, park, shops to buy ingredients!) all life lessons etc which they document and put up on tapestry, a daily set of photos. We could not be happier and looking forward to my youngest starting with them at some point soon. Highly recommend!”

Our Leighton Buzzard pre-school will be a setting with plenty of fun, giggles and exploring the world through a huge range of activities and play. Our staff are dedicated to providing your child with an encouraging and supportive approach to their well-being, as well as to setting strong foundations for their education.

My name is Kirsty and I have been in childcare for 20 years, I have worked in two nurseries before joining Footsteps Little Explorers. I love to be able to watch and help your children’s interests grow and explore. The best thing for me is to hear their infectious laughs and inquisitive questions and of course, exploring in many different messy plays.
I have two sons who have been in nurseries with me and who are now thriving in school, we love to go on bike rides and explore the great outdoors and of course relaxing on the sofa watching films together.

My name is Jess and I have worked in childcare for 7 years. I am very passionate about helping children to learn and grow though fun activites and play. I believe children need to be nurtured and understood to reach their full potential. I have 2 children – a son and a daughter – who are both at school.
We enjoy walks with our dog poppy, crafts and cosying up watching films together.
We would love to show you around our new setting and introduce you to our team. Get in touch to arrange a visit or enquire about places. We look forward to welcoming you to Little Footsteps Explorers.
