Wedding Fever Hits Footsteps
Footsteps Nursery at both Chalfont St Peter and Aylesbury have enjoyed a Royal celebration of their own in the lead up to last weekend’s big event as Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle. Excitement filled the air as bunting was put up, crafts took a definite British theme with baking, printing and painting dominating the preparations. Staff really got into the spirit of the occasion, with parents generously donating food for the big celebrations.
Both nurseries had their own spin on events. Aylesbury has a jubilee celebration style tea party and dancing to commemorate the big day, with Chalfont donning special wedding outfits and even masks of the Royal family to mark the day.
Manager at Aylesbury Tashia added “The day was so much fun and the children really enjoyed all of the learning experiences around the Royal family in the lead up.” Kelly Carter continued “Children, parents and staff made the celebrations a real occasion for everyone and we would like to thank them all for their, donations, involvement and enthusiasm!”
