Celebrating 10 Years of Service: Our Top Team!

As well as celebrating 10 years of Chalfont St Peter this year, we are also celebrating our members of staff that have been with us from the very beginning!  We are so proud that these dedicated practitioners have chosen to spend all this time with us, and the impact that they have had on the hundreds of children that have passed through our doors.

Kathy Reynolds

Kathy started her career at Footsteps at Chalfont St Peter before taking over as Manager at Footsteps Maple Cross. With 14 years in early years’ settings – and 10 of those at Footsteps – our seasoned professional is an asset to both our team and children.

Kathy holds Level 3 / Forest School Instructor / SENCO / First Aid qualifications as formal additions to her breadth of knowledge and experience. Kathy is a true professional and strives to provide a secure and nurturing base for children to feel they can explore the environment, take risks and have new exciting new learning experiences.  Her greatest achievement has been watching their growth during their time with us.

Holly Beament

Holly has been a permanent fixture in our Baby Room since 2012.  Her kind, gentle and joyful nature makes her perfectly placed to care for our youngest children.  Holly is a qualified member of our team who provides a wealth of experience in childcare. From naps to weaning – Holly is the ultimate problem solver. As a mum herself (and whose daughter Bella attended Footsteps), Holly creates a real home from home for our children who are settled and happy in her care.

Liz Allen

After over 10 years in the Footsteps Kitchen, our lovely Liz has recently left us for pastures new.  We want to thank her for her hard work in ensuring healthy, nutritious and delicious meals, as well as an outstanding 5 Star hygiene record. We will miss her greatly as will the children who she has cuddled, cooked for, and nurtured. We know she will miss us greatly, but not the hour commute from Waddesdon each way.  Now that’s a passionate member of staff!

We also wanted to mention our Senior Manager Tasha Hamer who was covering for us at this time, but didn’t permanently join the team until later on in the Year.  Tasha has been instrumental in the development of the Footsteps family, having helped establish our sites at Watermead, Oving and Leighton Buzzard as well our former site at Aylesbury.

We have all shared our highs, lows and amazing adventures over the last 10 years! We love you all, as do our children, team members and families.
