Footsteps Chalfont St Peter Celebrate in Style: 10 years and counting
On Sunday 12th June 2022 Footsteps Chalfont St Peter celebrated turning 10. Our official Birthday was in January, but we were hoping the sun would have his party hat on so we could celebrate our double digits in the incredible outside space that is part of our wonderful setting. He did not disappoint and we were blessed with amazing sunny weather for our Sunday Funday!
We loved seeing old faces, current faces and new faces. It was a joy to welcome them into our nursery. We even managed to get a photo with 11-year-old Thomas Eden – our first ever baby in Baby Room!
Footsteps was full of fun and laughter as we enjoyed spending time together and there was so much to do. We did Face Painting, Playball and bouncing on the bouncy castle. We showed off our creative skills as we made things on the craft tables. Not forgetting visiting all the stalls to pick up some sweeties, cakes & scones. Luckily our oral health sessions came in handy on Sunday night!
We all enjoyed delicious BBQ – thank you to our volunteer BBQ chefs you did an amazing job as did the bar volunteers with the Pimms and squash.
We had a selection of amazing prizes on the Raffle and Tombola. Well done to all our winners and of course a big thankyou to everyone for their kind and generous donations! And a huge thanks of course to all of our amazing staff for taking the time and effort to arrange such a wonderful day. Many of them have been with us since we opened and the day was a real tribute to their success, friendship and dedication.
We raised a whopping £550!!!! This money will be split between all rooms which will help us get more resources for the children. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
