Class of 2025: Celebrating Our Footsteps Pre-School Graduates

As the summer term draws to a close, we’ve been celebrating a huge milestone for our incredible pre-schoolers – their graduation from Footsteps and the exciting journey ahead as they move up to big school!

At Footsteps, we know just how special these early years are. They are filled with discovery, friendships, independence, confidence, and so much growth and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every child in our Class of 2025.

Our settings have been full of smiles (and a few happy tears!) as we marked this important moment with a wonderful series of celebrations. Colourful banners lined the walls, proud smiles lit up the room, and every child took their turn in the spotlight. We were all so proud as they walked up to receive their special certificates – a moment of recognition for all they’ve achieved during their time with us.

We were delighted to welcome parents, carers, and family members to share in the festivities. There were lots of photo opportunities to capture the memories too. Many of our settings enjoyed celebratory treats and a few favourite songs and stories shared one last time.

It’s such a joy and a privilege to be part of each child’s journey. From their very first day at Footsteps to this important send-off, we’ve watched them blossom into kind, curious, and capable young people. Now, we send them off ready to take those first big steps into primary school with confidence and excitement.

To all of our graduating children: we are so proud of you. And to all the parents and carers who trusted us to be part of your child’s early years, thank you. You’ve been an important part of our Footsteps family, and we will miss you dearly.

Its nearly time to say goodbye
But wipe those tears and don’t you cry
We’ve laughed and played and run around
We’ve harvested food grown in the ground
We’ve gone on walks and to Forest School
We’ve discovered skills that are super cool
We’ve cooked and sung and painted and read
We’ve written and counted and rested in bed
They are bigger now than at the start
Grown in confidence, knowledge and heart
