Good grounding for future learning – French and Spanish lessons

At Footsteps we are committed to a learning through play ethos which we feel helps the children develop skills, experience new things at a pace to suit them and create friendships and all the foundations for future learning. In addition to this method we also like to ensure that our children have a well-rounded provision and opportunities to learn about their wider surroundings.

Teaching our children the foundations of modern languages at an early age has a number of great benefits and we are thrilled that Language Play are partnered with Footsteps to deliver French and Spanish lessons. Using specifically designed activities from songs, conversations, games, to role-play, rhymes and stories their wonderful teachers are focused on making early language learning fun. With the support of high quality material such as activity books and CDs, the children are also given an awareness of the country, its geography and culture.
