Lets Play with Playball
With the new Government 10 year plan to tackle obesity in children, our sites have been specially chosen to maximise outdoor space, enabling your child to exercise and have lots of outdoors fun in our free flow gardens, allotments and playing fields. So whether it is taking part in a football match, parachute game or just a run around, your child will meet the Government’s requirement for health and exercise.
By partnering with a franchise like Playball we are also able to introduce young children to enjoyable sport participation through various age-appropriate and more constructive programmes. Footsteps run the “I Can Do” program for 2-3 year olds and the “Watch me Play” program for 3-4 year olds.
Through lots of exploration and discovery, Playball works in a creative way to encourage the children to begin their journey of movement, sport participation and will help them reach essential physical milestones as well as accomplish more challenging skills as they get older. The emphasis is on participation rather than competence, and ensuring that your child’s first experience of sport is positive and exciting.
Deputy Manager Anna said “The children are still discovering the wonderful things that bodies can do, and needs lots of practice in basic skills through fun but structured sessions. Playball is absolutely perfect for doing this!”
