Maple Cross Footsteps is Now Open!

Based in the grounds of Maple Cross JMI School, Footsteps Maple Cross is now open.

After renovations to make the existing childcare setting into a fresh, flexible and welcoming space, the team are beyond excited about the latest addition to the Footsteps family. With use of their own garden, the school field and large open spaces the children will be able to enjoy the Footsteps ethos of plenty of exercise, fresh air and opportunity to enjoy the best that the outside space has to offer. Places are available for children aged 18 months to 5 years and will be open from 8am – 4pm.

The 7th January saw our new children settle in with our stay and play session where parents could reassure their children of the safety and fun to be had in this new environment. The nursery officially opened its doors on the 8th January and so far has been a huge success with very happy children (and tired staff) leaving at the end of the day.

Our experienced Forest School leader and Manager Kathy Reynolds, is a dedicated practitioner who will lead our professional and passionate team to provide a home from home for all our new children. Kathy concluded “We are thrilled to be able to provide this fantastic setting for the children of Maple Cross and surrounding areas. We can’t wait to see lots of children come through our doors and leave for school confident, happy, well-rounded and well-prepared with all the skills they need for the future.”
