Aylesbury Logistics Drives up the Fun Factor at Footsteps
This month Footsteps Aylesbury has been exploring the very popular topic of transport. So whether its 2 wheels, 4 or more we’ve been spotting, matching, hunting, crafting and playing with scooters, bikes, cars, vans, trucks, planes, trains and boats.
With such a huge range of activities planned by the team, we were thrilled when Aylesbury Logistics offered to bring in one of their arctic lorries for the children to explore.
Manager Natasha Hamer said “The children had such a fantastic morning and it was a fabulous opportunity to get up close with such a big vehicle. Aylesbury Logistics were amazing with the children – they particularly loved the horn and the rear lift platform!”
Dave Young from Aylesbury Logistics “It was pleasure showing the nursery children round the artic. Road safety is a huge importance to our business and being able to educate our younger generation around lorry safety is very important to ensure everyone understands what a artic lorry driver sees or doesn’t. Who knows we may have enticed a few future professional drivers.”
We would like to take the opportunity to offer a huge thanks to Aylesbury Logistics for giving up their valuable time, to provide such a unique learning experience for children of all ages.
