Watermead: Our Autumn stay and play
The fun we have at Footsteps is never reserved solely for our Children. And the new term is a great way for our families to come and join us to see what we get up to! So on the 3rd October we had our Autumn Stay and Play! The weather was on our side and there was plenty on offer for our parents to get involved in together.
We enjoyed lots of activities including:
- Planting daffodils
- Hedgehog pictures with leaves
- A trip to the Animal Farm in our small world tuff tray
- Water tray and sandpit
- Outside reading tent
- Vehicles
Always looking for ways to support local and national charities we also held a cake sale for Macmillan Cancer Support and enjoyed lots of yummy treats like unicorn cupcakes and chocolate crispy cakes.
We also had some incredible prizes donated for our Raffle. From tickets to Beckonscot to animal adventures at Tiggywinkles and Bucks Goat centre. Beauty treatments and gift selections, gift vouchers for sweet treats and chocolates and wine! All money raised will be added to our cake sale proceeds and donated to MacMillan. So far we have raised £155!
Our Harvest collection box was also out and we are very grateful for all the donations for Aylesbury Vineyard food bank. They were absolutely delighted to receive these gifts.
