Celebrating Mother’s Day at Footsteps Nursery: A Week of Fun and Treats

Mother’s Day is always an amazing celebration at Footsteps, enjoying activities filled with love and joy as we think about special people in our lives.

This year, we introduced a variety of activities that made our Mother’s Day celebrations extra special. Dads and grandads were not left out and joined in to help the children make heartfelt Mother’s Day cards, adding an extra personal touch to the festivities.

Our stay & play sessions offered families the perfect opportunity to come together and enjoy quality time in a fun and nurturing environment. From arts and crafts and reading stories to role play & sensory experiences, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

It was a chance for children to bond with their loved ones showing them all their favourite activities while making lasting memories. Whether they were mums, grandmas, aunties, or guardians – all were welcome for a day of appreciation and togetherness.

And what better way to start the day than with a grab & go breakfast treat? We served up a delicious selection of morning delights to kickstart our Mother’s Day celebrations. From freshly baked pastries to nutritious fruit, we had all the breakfast favorites covered. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of fun and excitement!

But the fun didn’t stop there – we also hosted a variety of activities to celebrate the special women in our lives. From crafting cards to baking tasty treats, there was plenty of creativity to be shared. It was a wonderful opportunity for children to show their love and appreciation through handmade gifts and gestures. A huge thanks to our amazing teams as usual for their creative genius and thoughtfulness.

In addition to our other activities, we treated our special guests to a luxurious spa day experience. Loved ones were invited to indulge in pampering treatments, including nail painting for both fingers and toes. It was a relaxing and rejuvenating experience that added an extra touch of glamour to our Mother’s Day celebrations.

We were also able to encourage conversations about the incredible women who shape our lives. It was a chance for children to share stories, memories, and reflections about the important women who inspire them each and every day. It was a heartwarming reminder of the love and support that surrounds us all.
