Footsteps Aylesbury celebrates their first year
On Sunday 2nd September Footsteps Aylesbury celebrated their 1st Birthday with a Funday for children and their parents.
The lovely weather was an added bonus as the event enabled full use of Aylesbury’s fantastic outdoor facilities to offer a great selection of stalls and activities. From hook a duck to the bottle tombola, guess the name of the dog to local beauty and trade businesses, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Current and prospective parents packed out the event for the full 2 hours as they relished the opportunity to look at all the amazing displays and activities the children had done. In addition the children loved showing off the new improvements to the outdoor areas and the produce from the allotment.
A fantastic morning was had by everyone. Manager Tashia Hamer said “It was amazing to have so many
parents and children celebrate this milestone with us. We are thrilled that all proceeds from the day will be split between the children’s ward at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and continuing improvements to the nurseries outdoor areas.”
