Footsteps spread the joy to local Children’s Ward

Following the success of Footsteps Aylesbury’s 1st Birthday party, the team were able to purchase some items on the wish-list of Stoke Mandeville’s Children’s Ward with the proceeds.

High on that wish-list was new playdough. A few of the children were able to go down to the hospital to personally take the items and see their impact which was an incredible experience for them.

Team member Karen said “We were so pleased that the proceeds of such a great event will make such a difference to the children spending time on the ward. Alison added “We know how important the new items will be for both play-workers and parents making the experience of the children there that little bit brighter and were really pleased we could do our bit.”

Manager Natasha continued “Footsteps would like to take the opportunity to thank the amazing team who put so much into making the day a huge success and giving up their own family time to ensure the smooth running of the event. Karen, Alison, Laura, Abi, Lauren, Becca and Sarah are invaluable and we appreciate everything they do to help make Footsteps such a wonderful environment”.
