Footsteps Fundraises for MacMillan Cancer Support

Footsteps takes our responsibilities to teach our children about the importance of helping others very seriously. We love to support both causes at the heart of our local community, as well as national charities.

Inspired by the recent Coffee Morning campaign by MacMillan Cancer Support which took place on the 29th September, Footsteps Watermead held their very own Cake Sale and Raffle on Friday 1st October. It was incredible to see the support, both in donations of goodies to the event, as well as from families who came to support us by buying cakes on the day. As ever, the children did an awesome job of quality control, making sure they tasted just right!

We had some fantastic Raffle prizes donated too. These included a photoshoot, haircut and style, massage vouchers, prosecco, chocolates and more. The children helped us to sort all of the coins from the cake sale and raffle and then they drew the raffle for us. We had lots of fun identifying all the numbers.

We are ever so proud to announce that we raised a huge £211.18 for MacMillan so a HUGE thankyou to everyone involved!
