Our First Few Weeks
As another member of the Footsteps family opens its doors in the lovely village of Oving, we have been taking advantage of our new location at Oving Village Hall.
The new children have settled beautifully, and we have been taking lots of time to develop friendships
and relationships with staff and peers as well as the daily routine – allowing the children to feel like this new environment is a real home from home.
We have been doing lots of stories, role play, puzzles, building bricks, colouring, crafts small world play to name a few – the first few weeks have really flown by!
We are blessed with a wonderful play park at the site. With our free-flow approach and ethos to spend as much time outside as we can, we have been making full use of the facilities. The equipment provides the children with amazing opportunities to take risks and get those gross motor skills truly perfected. With tunnels, climbing nets, a pirate ship, roundabout and slides there have been plenty of smiles all round.
Manager Natasher Hamer said “It has been wonderful to see how well the team and children have settled in. This is a fantastic site with so much opportunity for amazing learning opportunities. Firm friendships have already been made, and we have been so proud of how all the children have thrown themselves into all the activities.”
We do have some spaces for September so please do get in touch with any enquiries.
