Footsteps support Children In Need
On Friday 16th November all Footsteps Nurseries and pre-schools took part in lots of exciting fundraising activities and events to raise money for Children in Need.
All staff and children joined in and there were lots of different ways we showed our support. At Farnborough it was all about the crazy hair and pyjamas, whilst Maple Cross and Watermead opted for yellow or spots.
There was an array of amazing activities going on throughout the day. There was Pudsey threading, painting spotty Pudsey bears and decorating spotty biscuits. At Chalfont the children made a huge Pudsey Bear collage, decorated a themed sponge cake and practiced our fine motor skills as we picked pom poms to match Pudsey’s spots with tweezers. Our baby room loved the themed colouring pictures too.
Area Manager Kelly said “The children have all been so excited. Everyone had a fun day and we were able to raise much needed funding for this worthy cause. It’s been a difficult year for everyone and we wanted to brighten the lives of children who need it the most. A big thank you to everyone who joined in, took part, donated and supported us in raising money for this amazing charity we look forward to doing it all again next year.
Donations are still coming in so we will update you shortly with the grand footsteps total!
