Waving goodbye at Watermead
As we come to the end of another fantastic term at Footsteps, it is filled with a mix of happy and sad tears as our children move onto pastures new. We are so proud of all they have achieved and know that we are sending them off to their Big schools with all the skills they need to thrive as they take on their new adventures.
We have had an amazing last few weeks as the sun has come to join us! We have been out for walks around the lake, looked at information signs and spotted lots of wildlife.
We have been enjoying our Spanish lessons and some of our children may even get to practice on their holidays. Our veggie patches have been blooming with pumpkins, carrots, potatoes and tomatoes which we can’t wait to harvest when we come back. We have celebrated our fantastic England team and all you can do and achieve when you work together as a team. We have celebrated Birthdays and looked at topics on transport, beaches and holidays. We have run, jumped, payed, climbed, laughed, sang, painted, cut, calculated, marked, stuck, hugged and learnt. We ended a fantastic term with our very special graduation ceremony. We were thrilled to be joined by parents who were able to share this very special day with us and celebrate our fabulous children.
We wish them every success and we hope that they will help to make their new setting as special as they have made Footsteps during their time here. We can’t wait for them to come back and visit us already!
Happy Summer Holidays
